Tytan's doctor visit

Yesterday we took Tytan down to Primary Children's for a GI. It was so sad... the doctor had the nurse strap him to a back board with his arms above his head... he was so upset and during the GI his arms turned purple. I was a little stressed. They then had to take 2 x-ray pictures to see it go all the way through... the test turned out no result. Everything looked fine. So now we get the opportunity to see a pediatric GI doctor which takes forever to get into... we cant be seen until June.

Grandma's Visit, so much fun!

Tuesday night Grandma came to spend the night at our house. It was so much fun!!! The weather was really nice that day and we played out on the tramp and swing set. It was hilarious watching mom jump with Brookie on the tramp and she loved it. Tater was so interested in grandma he loved watching her...
We took her to dinner at El Parral, it was super nummy! Mom and I went shopping at Kents and we bought some Pound Cake also nummy!
Bridger and grandma played poker on two computers on facebook sitting right next to each other... We enjoyed it so much.
We cannot wait to have grandma spend the night again!!! Love you mommy/grandma!!!

My smart Bridger.

Bridger took the ACT a few weeks ago and finally got his score. He scored a 25, which is in the top 80% in the nation. He did extremely well considering he is only a sophomore... great job Bridger!!! I only wish he could do this good on his school work. He is smart enough to pull As but lazy enough not too... LOL

Tytan's first hair cut!

Tytan got his very first hair cut yesterday... we went to Ogden for dance then went shopping a little bit. After shopping we went back to Kellie's house. Kellie cut Tater's hair so cute. We kept some of his hair for his scrapbook. He looks so adorable and so big...

Brooklyn's First Full Movie.

Today I took Brooklyn to see Hannah Montana with Amber, Lexi, Allison, Jessica, and the kids... She was soo excited to go... A few weeks ago I took Brooklyn to see Monsters vs. Aliens but she would not sit through it so we left. I told her she could go to a movie again when she was big. I didn't know if she would sit through the movie but she wanted to go into the house in the kitchen. While I was making Tater a bottle, he crawled around in. She did make it through the whole movie... Yea!!! She was good through most of it. She looked so adorable today in her Hannah Montana shirt. Funny thing is she never even watches Hannah Montana...

This evening we set up the trampoline and done a little bit of yard work. It was kinda muddy... Jason tracked some mud the kitchen and found something to eat. He found the mud....and yes, ate it. Just like Brooklyn used to do and sometimes still does... GREAT! He is so sweet and innocent and didn't even know I had to take a picture of his face.

My Tater thinking he is Big

Tonight Jason's parents came over for dinner. Afterward we were all talking in the front room. Tater was climbing up an empty laundry basket. We were watching him and you could tell he was gonna try to let go and stand by himself. So all of a sudden he did let go and after a few seconds he grabbed back on. He looked at us and smiled... of course it was a big deal to me. My baby is getting too big too fast!

Brooklyn is getting married!!! at age 3

So last night while I was getting ready for Bunco. Brooklyn came in and informed me she was getting married. She told her dad she needed to get in a dress cuz she was getting married. She changed dresses until she found one that didn't itch her. Then she came in to see me... she had to use the bathroom. She wanted me to help hold up her dress and I couldn't take it off cuz she was getting married. When I asked who she was getting married to she said Bridger. I tried to explain that you don't marry your brother but she kept saying she was marrying Bridger. Finally I told her that she should marry a boy who is a friend and she said no that she wanted to marry a girl. We went from marrying her brother to marrying a girl... LOL After I left, she forgot all about getting married... thank goodness, she is way too young for talk like that. I do not want her to grow up and there is no way any boy will ever be able to get close to her... until she's like 40. I want her to stay my princess forever.

Sad day!!!

Yesterday I got a phone call that they were taking my brother to the emergency room. I called Jason to come home and be with the kids so I could run down to Layton. However, Tyson told me not to come until they talked to the doctor. To make a long story short, they gave him a diagnosis. Not great but it could but worse. After I talked to Tyson I felt better. However, I called him to see how he was doing today and he said it was worse. When I got off the phone with him it made me soooo sad. He is younger than me and in better shape than me. Illness doesn't choose its victims based on that. I hope and pray that eventually he will be able to heal completely. I love my family and siblings so much. Tyson is the man of the family and he is a great brother. He does so much for everyone else. I love him and his family so very much, even though I don't always express it. I called the Ogden Temple and had his name added to the prayer circle. I would love for him to get a blessing. I ask all my family and friends to remember him in your prayers. Thanks!
To Ty... I love you very much and hope you will get back to your normal self soon.
On a final note... Tyson always being the tease... he called me after he got done at the hospital and said jeez don't come all the way down here for a cold... Amber calls cuz I got a cold and you are gonna run down in this weather... funny funny Ty it's not even close to a cold.

Easter Day!!!

Today was a great Easter day... we went to Nanny's for Easter lunch. Amber, Kellie, and I put candy and money in Easter eggs and then hid them in the yard. It was so much fun watching the kids look for them. Brooklyn got the egg that had a dollar in it. Yea! Tater ate the empty eggs when they were done. I think I found a new baby toy for him. LOL
Lunch was really good... afterward, we went to my dad and Allison's house for a visit. It was so great to see them.
Jason put Tater's new swing on the swing set and he loved it... Dinner tonight was again totally delicious (thank you Honey Baked Ham) and easy. But most of all it was nice to remember the reason for the Holiday!!!
We are so thankful for our Savior and his sacrifice for us! We are thankful for the knowledge that He Lives and we can live again with him! Happy Easter everyone!

Getting ready for Easter

Today was the annual city Easter Egg hunt... it was sooo cold. Tytan was freezing but he loved the plastic eggs. Brooklyn hunted with dad and both got fruit snacks and treats. Yea!!!
I finished up my shopping and decided to do lots of Easter cooking. What was I thinking?
I got Nanny's recipe for home made rolls and thought I would give it a try. Well I will see how it turns out tomorrow. The dough seems to be ok. I have a ham to finish, 2 things of potatoes, a jello salad, a dessert, and rolls to make. We are having dinner at Nanny's tomorrow and then I am making dinner for our family and Jason's parents.
We colored Easter Eggs tonight... Brooklyn squealed when we took the eggs out of the dye... Jason and Bridger even colored some... It was fast and fun.

Shopping day!

Today was grocery shopping day... luckily I was able to leave Brooklyn at Nanny's with Lexi and Brayden. Tytan came with me to the store. Its funny how many elderly people kept coming up to Tytan and talking to him and saying how cute he was, which of course he is totally cute!!!

Lexi and Brayden get to come up and spend the night. Yea!!! We will see if I go crazy with 5 kids tonight or not... considering Jason is gone to school. The positive thing is that I have Lexi and so maybe I can get more of my Spring Cleaning done with her babysitting.

Monday April 6, 2009

So today started out as a normal Monday. Up and taking Brooklyn to her dance class. Her and Braylee are so cute. They are learning a dance to the theme song from Tinkerbell. When me and Kellie watch they don't seem to pay attention that great but their teacher Michelle says they are both going to be great dancers....
Me and Kellie went shopping for MORE beads... I don't know how we can need more beads LOL and then we made watches again!!!
But to top the day off my son FINALLY got his drivers license. I was actually scared going down to the DMV. I wondered how it all worked, if he would have to take any more tests and if he did would he have to drive the SUV... I never thought about it until we were on our way down.... But he didn't need to drive or anything. It was fast... I think afterwards I was more excited than him. I kept bugging Jason about getting him on the insurance and how much and everything. I called my step mom Allison to see when Bridger could get with my dad and play with the car... Dad has offered Bridger his old green car.... I can't remember what it is but it is a '74 and its puke green... and its rusted LOL
Great first car.... its a tank.
They are getting together this weekend... we will have to see how it goes...
